Chrysocolla is a beautiful blue/green opaque crystal, which also appears as a turquoise-coloured mineral called Gem Silica. This crystal's powerful blue and green rays reach out to touch both our throat, and our heart chakras, asking us to speak with passion and love, those emotions which we truely embrace in our heart chakra. We affirm our perceptions and desires constantly through the Throat Chakra, transmitting our intention outwards, and receiving back what we have created.

(Cu,Al)2 H2 Si2 O5 (OH)4 .nH2O is the chemical formula of Chrysocolla, and it almost always grows on or near Malachite and Azurite, within Copper-rich deposits. Azurite's chemical formula: Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2. Malachite's chemical formula: Cu2(CO3)(OH)2. Chrysocolla has a strong healing links to Malachite, Azurite and other bright copper based minerals.
